long time no see!! i really can’t believe it’s been almost a year. been a bit out of this whole writing and blogging thing right now but trying my best to make a comeback (and a continuous one this time after my failed one back last summer).

i suddenly thought of something i could do just now though, so i’m going to impulsively announce it as a new challenge:

the lyrics challenge!!

so i’m going to shuffle one of my playlists (chinese or english, probably chinese) every day or every week or whenever i feel ready, and i don’t get to pick the song. it’s just fate — whichever song comes up first is the one i’ll be writing about. assuming i haven’t already.

naturally it won’t be a really long full-blown essay or anything. just going to take the lyrics and connect it to something i know in real life. it’s so that i can get more inspiration and writing practice in.

i also need to redesign this blog since it’s ugly af right now. get a new banner/signature too.
