So, chopsticks are the best eating utensil, compared to spoons, forks, sporks, knifes, etc.
Try to convince me otherwise.
So here’s why:
- It functions as a spoon. If you master how to use chopsticks correctly, you can learn how to use them similarly to a spoon. Although it may be difficult to pick up rice or something similar if you really learn how to use it (like I have), it becomes fairly easy.
- It functions as a fork. For eating salads or other things that you would use a fork for, chopsticks also come in handy. All you’ve gotta do is open them and take a bunch of food in them and put it in your mouth. (It’s harder than it looks though).
- It’s easier to make. C’mon, you’ve got to agree with me on this. Chopsticks are, frankly, two sticks. Spoons and forks are much more difficult to make–though I’m not a professional utensil maker, so you’d have to really ask an expert, but this is just my opinion.
The only downside to chopsticks are for things like soups and porridges, but a lot of the time I just drink it from the bowl. Plus, forks can’t do those either.
Although chopsticks are harder to master than a simple fork or spoon, I’d say it’s worth it to learn.
Plus, the game of Chopsticks is really fun. Lol.
This was a pretty unnecessary blog post but I was eating dinner today and the idea suddenly popped up in my head. I haven’t been posting much even though I have like a thousand cdrama and book and webtoon and fanfic recs but my life has been WAY hectic these days.
Jesus, that’s always my excuse.
Signing off,
P.S. I really need to fix up my blog image header and background. Right now it’s ABSOLUTE trash.
