Rate: very good, but a bit confusing at the beginning

Echo is a confusing but interesting story, telling of many characters. But, as I mentioned, it makes me a bit confused at the beginning. The author always writes about one main character until the climax, then suddenly moves to the next character. But it is all connected at the end. It is about a magical harmonica, used to rescue three sisters. The harmonica must be passed down from many people talented in music, and give them courage, determination, comfort, joy, and happiness. They are Friedrich, who has a ugly birthmark, Mike, determined to give his brother a happy future, and Ivy, a girl struggling to deal with many changes. But all of them end up together on the stage, with Friedrich as conductor, what he always wanted to be, Mike as pianist, with his brother, Frankie, watching him, and Ivy playing the flute, after dealing with some changes. Finally the three sisters are free, and their not fully written tale can be continued.
