finding what we've lost

So, I’m probably done with tennis camp for the summer! Sad.

I started a new camp that I’ll be going for only 1 week. I forgot what it’s called… lol…

Anyway, there you just play games and hike and walk and stuff.

It’s pretty fun, I guess.

Today we walked around and looked at some animals and plants.

Here are a few things we saw….

Animals:

• Two baby squirrels
• Some ducks
• A lot of Canadian geese (I got geese poop on my backpack and my shoes, ugh)
• Some kind of a heron (RARE)
• Some more random birds

Plants:

• Poison Oak (blarg)
• Some really cool tree that is hard to kill, long name
• A tree with leaves that smells like lemons
• Reeds (hah)
• Well, more trees I guess
• Grass (WITH A LOT OF GEESE POOP BLEHH)

Yeah, I think that’s about it. We played some games too like Hula Hoop Challenge thing, What Time Is it Mr Fox, Robot Factory, Tug of War, etc.

We split into two teams/groups, I was one of the Ocelots and my sister was a Potato. Lol. The teams have to try to beat each other to get treats–DONUTS, I THINK!!

My team won today, with a score of 3:2 (the score’s determined by some specific games.)

Yahoo, though I feel sorta bad for my sister.

I’m like, the oldest in the entire camp. Not again… oh well, whatever.

Last time in my Chinese camp, I was the youngest, so I guess that’s okay with me. I have a friend there too, so it’s alright. Pretty fun too.

Oh, right. Recently I’ve been reading a lot of Andrew Clements, who’s another author. His books are a bit for younger children than me, but sometimes it’s nice to read his books.

His books are a bit too old/hard for my sister and a bit too young for me, so we can both read it and discuss. Finally! Haha.

Some of his books are my level though, like the Friendship War, sort of.

I hope I don’t have to write book reviews for all of them.. lemme think…
