Little Women is a wonderful story of four March girls. Beautiful Meg, who wishes to be rich but soon learns that love is better than money, boyish Jo, who is kind and funny, with a terrible temper that she learns to control, timid Beth, who tries to overcome her shyness but sadly died at the end, and artistic Amy, who learns to not be selfish and grows to a wonderful woman. This interesting book brings stories of marriage, love, death, good and bad qualities, and many more. Additional characters bring more fun to the book: friendly Laurie, kind old Mr. Laurence, strict but loving Aunt March, wise Mr. Brooke, smart Professor Bhaer, Marmee, Mr. March, Meg’s children, Demi and Daisy, and more. This story is also filled with morals. It is an absolutely awesome and touching book.

(Note: I read Little Women and Little Women Part Two combined, which frequently happens, and if only Part One is read, then there is no Professor Bhaer and Demi and Daisy.)
