Annemarie Johansen is a brave girl. As the German troops invade Denmark, the Johansens take in Ellen, a Jewish friend of Annemarie.The two girls live like sisters. Then, Ellen decides to move to Sweden with her parents. But Annemarie faces many dangers still, though she is not Jewish. Her story tells us that Annemarie is a girl of courage, and she would try her hardest to her country or friend in the hardest times.
